Leonardo Sonnante
Leonardo Sonnante took his degree in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Milano in 1996. Since 1997 he has been working on community networks, particularly on technological and functional aspects.
Since 1999, he is responsible for the Milan Community Netwoks web site and is involved in the management of the community network.
In 2001-2003 he coordinated the design and the development of Virtuose an open source tool for Virtual Community and Community Networks management, which has been developed in the framework of the project Development of services and technologies to turn local communities to account in the Information Society carried on by A.I.Re.C. (Association for Informatics and Community Networks - Lombardia) and funded by Lombardia Regional Government.
Now he is responsible for the development of the web site of the project University Science Virtual Shop promoted by the Faculty of Science of the University of Milano which has among its goals the improvement of communication among researchers and small and medium-sized enterprises.
